We believe having our headquarters office in the United States best positions us to further our goals of education with respect to insurance companies, employers, physician groups and patients located within the United States. From this location, we can easily access the American, Canadian and European public which includes the largest growing population of patients looking for options overseas. The regional offices in Asia and the Middle East will be organized to address Chinese, Japanese and Middle Eastern patients which are the target markets for many of our Asian members. The offices in Latin America and Europe will address the growth and the concerns of the Latin American and European healthcare providers, respectively.

Jonathan Edelheit
Chief Executive Officer of the Medical Tourism Association™
Jonathan Edelheit is CEO of the Medical Tourism Association (MTA) and assistant editor of the Medical Tourism Magazine. Mr. Edelheit is an attorney and he was the first person in the United States to implement Medical Tourism into both self-insured and fully insured healthcare plans, while he helped run a national healthcare administrator. Mr. Edelheit co-founded the MTA because of his belief and passion in providing healthcare consumers the choice of receiving the highest quality of care wherever they decide to receive that care.
Mr. Edelheit has been featured and mentioned in hundreds of media publications and speaks all over the world at conferences and workshops. Mr. Edelheit has authored several books on medical tourism and corporate wellness. He focuses his energies in strategy for the Medical Tourism Association and managing the MTA’s buyers of healthcare programs.
Mr. Edelheit is considered a leader in the U.S. health insurance community, and he consults with US employers, insurers and insurance consulting firms. Mr. Edelheit also consults international insurers and multinational corporations. Mr. Edelheit organizes one of the largest U.S. health insurance conferences which brings the senior leaders in the U.S. industry, the Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress. Mr. Edelheit is Editor-in Chief of Several U.S. insurance magazines, that focus in the areas of Healthcare Reform, Self-Funding, Corporate Wellness and Voluntary Benefits, and he has co-authored the books: ”Medical Tourism: An International Healthcare Guide for Insurers, Employers and Governments” and “Employers and Governments and Engaging Wellness ~ Corporate Wellness Programs that Work”
Mr. Edelheit sits on the Board of Directors for the Global Benefits Association, Corporate Health & Wellness Association, Self-Funding Employers Association and the Voluntary Benefits Association. Mr. Edelheit volunteers his time in his role as CEO of the Medical Tourism Association.

Renee-Marie Stephano, Esquire
President of the Medical Tourism Association™
Renee-Marie Stephano is the President and Co-Founder of the Medical Tourism Association and Editor-in-Chief of Medical Tourism Magazine and the Health and Wellness Destination Guide Series of books. Ms. Stephano has authored several books from Developing International Patient centers, Best Practices in Facilitation, to Medical Tourism for Insurers and Employers, and the most recent, Engaging Wellness.
Ms. Stephano is an attorney and specializes in working with governments and hospitals to develop sustainable medical tourism/international patient programs and strategies.
She has worked with governments and hospitals all over the globe in developing healthcare clusters, international patient departments on long term international patient strategic plans. Ms. Stephano works with Ministers of Health, Tourism & Economic Development in developing public private partnerships to support medical tourism and at the same time to provide a benefit and return to the local community. She organizes one of the only Ministerial Summits that brings together Ministers of Health, Tourism and Economic Development every year.
She has helped assess the feasibility and opportunities of international programs for both U.S. and International Hospitals, Cities and Countries with international expansion, clinical development and affiliations and partnerships. She also consults governments in the development of sustainable Medical Tourism Zones & Free Healthcare Zones.
Ms. Stephano he has co-authored the books: ”Medical Tourism: An International Healthcare Guide for Insurers, Employers and Governments” and “Employers and Governments and Engaging Wellness ~ Corporate Wellness Programs that Work”. She is a keynote speaker at international conferences and has spoken at hundreds of events and has been featured and mentioned in hundreds of media publications around the world.
Ms. Stephano serves on the Board of Directors for the International Healthcare Research Center, a 501c3, nonprofit medical tourism research center, the Corporate Health & Wellness Association, and two Washington D.C. based lobbying groups focused on lobbying the U.S. Congress for the benefits of Medicare reimbursement overseas and the support of U.S. Hospitals in their overseas initiatives. Ms. Stephano donates her time as president of the Medical Tourism Association® and Editor-in-Chief of the Medical Tourism Magazine.

Brad Cook

Brad Cook is considered an expert in global healthcare and medical tourism in Latin America and is in charge of the International Patient Department of Hospital Clinica Biblica in Costa Rica, one of the leading hospitals in Latin America. Mr. Cook is responsible for certain MTA initiatives in Latin America.

Some of the current activities of the company include partnership with medical centers at various locations around the world. Based on this extensive network in Israel and worldwide, the company has now embarked upon a new venture and has taken on the challenge of developing the field of Medical Tourism in Israel, and has founded GHI to fulfill this goal.
