Advisory Board
The Medical Tourism Association™ will be made up of 4 working councils starting in February 2010. Each Council will be made up of an elected Chairman, Vice Chairman and named Charter. Upon your invitation to the Council, you will be honored to an 18 month term. Each council will be given a predetermined budget to assist in the progress of Council projects and objectives.
Regional Advisory Council
The Regional Advisory Council will be made up of Ministers, Under-Secretaries and invited honoraries from around the world, coming together to support and develop Medical Tourism globally. Their goal is to communicate the development of global healthcare initiatives in their region to the MTA.

Innovation Council
The Innovation Council will be a working group whose goal will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, programs and events in the Medical Tourism Industry for the Medical Tourism Association™ to participate in. The Council may identify regional experts to assist in the development of programs in respective regions and these experts will be part of a committee on regional development.

The Legal Council will be a working group made up of legal members of the Medical Tourism Association. This Council will work on Alternate Dispute Resolution, Legal Development and Education Programs, CLE, and Patient Advocacy Programs. The Council will be chaired by a legal expert in medical tourism.

Healthcare Quality Council (HQC)
The Healthcare Quality Council will be a working group whose goal is to provide overall transparency in global healthcare quality. They will also work on the Quality Indicator Project (QIP). This project seeks to create a single set of quality indicators that may be used universally, a single methodology and validation method. The goal is to create indicators understandable to the consumer. The Council will evaluate existing programs and assist in the finalization of the QIP. This Council will be chaired by a healthcare quality expert.
