The National Institute of Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) has the responsibility of promoting Argentina in the world as a tourist destination.
Since its creation in 2005, INPROTUR has developed worldwide promotional tasks with the aim of positioning our country as a leading destination in Latin America and continuing to consolidate Argentina's receptive tourism.
In this way, INPROTUR began with the challenge of putting the country before the eyes of the world through different actions. Participation in tourism fairs around the world, interventions on public roads, web actions and social networks and the organization of large events in our country were and are some of our main tools.
In order to continue increasing numbers, in early 2016 a plan of goals was established to reach the arrival of 9 million international tourists by December 2019.
In addition, INPROTUR launched the Argentina World Friendly brand. The motto is to proclaim that Argentina reopens its doors to the world, revealing the attitude with which the country will receive all those who wish to know it.
The presence on the Internet and in social networks is perhaps one of the vital tools through which a country can work linked to the promotion. That is why INPROTUR worked to develop a website (www.argentina.travel) in which tourists can find more than 200 experiences designed to tour our country and know its attractions.
The work in social networks seeks to strengthen the promotion channels of Argentina. The interaction with the tourists allows to give details about their inquiries and to be present in each of their needs and concerns. The promotion on Facebook (Fan Page Visit Argentina) and on Twitter (@VisitArg and @InproturArg) allows to publish information about our destinations and experiences.
Through INPROTUR, Argentina opens the doors to all the travellers of the world and suggests them to live an unforgettable experience.

The Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Silicon Valley is the Commercial Section of the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco and the representative office of the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry in the US Pacific Northwest and Western Canada.
PTIC Silicon Valley is under the direct supervision of the Foreign Trade Service Corps under the Trade and Investment Promotions Group of the Department of Trade and Industry.
